About Us
Urgently calling all Foundations' Alumni! We need your passion, creativity and input to help us Discover, Dream, Design and put into action the future direction of the Foundation community. Our mission is "Reinventing and Unleashing the Foundations' Community: Creating Vision and Collective Purpose." Join us May 22-23, 2010 at the Sheraton Airport hotel in Portland for a specially designed, free Appreciative Inquiry (AI) Summit.
Like Foundations, AI believes that the quality of life, individually and collectively, is directly related to the quality of questions you ask. Rather than focusing on problems AI, through the use of unconditionally affirmative and appreciative questions, focuses on what is already working well in individuals, groups and organizations. Thus, we give up the hope of a better past. Then building on these Discovery strengths AI Dreams and Designs how to put more of what you want into sustained action. AI asks, "What if we could tap into our individual and group creativity to create and sustain our most purposeful, successful and fulfilled community?" By creating safe, encouraging, bonding, innovative no-limit environments AI has been the most successful whole system, positive change process for organizations of all shapes, sizes, interests and needs for the last 25 years.

We will also have an alumni STRETCH on Saturday night! You are welcome to come just for the stretch, but we hope you'll come to the whole weekend. Please let Janice know if you want to pick out a song for yourself or form your own stretch group! (Depending on how many people we have sign up we may need to combine stretches and/or use the standard stretch songs, but we'll make our best attempt to accommodate your request.)
